The hotel was little and incredibly friendly with EXCEPTIONALLY NICE personnel. We booked a double room for 5 nights and had a such wonderful stay. We had a private bathroom. The location was wonderful, right by Kedar Ghat.

The location of this place is absolutely mind-blowing with an incredible view of the Ganga. It's the perfect calm oasis in the bustling old town, easily accessible to the southern and northern ghats. The terrace is jaw-droppingly beautiful and the highlight of the property, offering hours of relaxation while watching life go by. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making us feel well received throughout our stay. Although the bathroom was basic, the rooms provide personal views and privacy. The food service may not have been functioning, but no worries as there are plenty of delicious options just a few meters away in the old town. In summary, a super stay with an amazing location and lovely hosts. Perfect for backpackers looking for a unique experience!

I recently stayed at Vishnu Rest House for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff members were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. I was impressed with Mr. Ajay's delicious homemade dishes, and Mr. Praveen Tripathi's thoughtfulness in providing a ride for my mother, who had knee pain. The hotel's location, with its stunning view from the terrace, was a definite highlight. Additionally, it was conveniently situated near popular attractions and a variety of shops and restaurants.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The room we stayed in at Vishnu Rest House was amazing! It had a private bathroom with a refreshing shower, and some rooms even had a terrace. The seating area was cozy, and the air conditioning kept us cool during our stay. We absolutely loved the view from our balcony too. It was perfect for our family with small kids!
Personally, I found the lack of a terrace in some rooms a bit disappointing. But hey, that's just me.
